Hello

Is it OK to plug a guitar straight into a VM200?

i have no clue what a vm200 is.. but in anycase recordign a guitar your goign to either A) mic a AMp that the guitar is palying through.. or B) record using a amp modeler like the Line 6 POD.

the soudn you will get is 1001023012 times better then a guitar direct.

It's okay (it won't hurt anything), but it won't sound very good, either. You'll need either an amp or and amp modeler to get any sort of a decent tone.

But to answer your question, yes, it is okay.
