Problem With Audiophile 192

hi there , i ve recently purchasd an audiophile 192 i have an old machine its a pentium III celeron 700 mhz with 384 ram 60 gb hard disk running xp service pack 2 , i installed it and it worked the problm came when y turned down my computr and then the next day y tunrned on and it crashed
i found a temporal solution , before i turn off my pc y disable my soundboard
pd:i have an asus c4uvx motherboard i think
please help!!

You might try a few differant things to help out here. Check your driver version for the card, and then go to M-Audio site and make sure you have the latest version, if not download them and update them.

The other thing to try is if your mother board has an onboard sound chip. Try dissabling that as sometimes that can cause a problem.
