I just started using my Behringer Powerplay PRO-8 HA-8000 Headphone Amp that I bought forever ago. The thing is on all channels it has a hum/buzzing noise all the time. Is that normal, or what?

As well, you are you feeding it, directly from a mixer or from the Audio interface? You might have something set a bit high volume wise that might be passing on the humm.

Nov 19, 2005 03:13 pm I've got a Behringer 4700 headphone amp an it is pretty clean. Was it always buzzing? If not, make sure all your cables are terminated and remove un-needed ones. I have a spaghetti of wires behind my rack and I guess I accidently unplugged one on a chain I don't use very often. Anyways, this introduced buzzing.
Like noise2u was saying, it could be feeding the headphone amp with buzzing from a mixer depending on how you are feeding it (especially if you are monitoring a headphone out).
