hi, im looking to get a new computer from newegg.com and abs computers seem like good deals.
Heres what im looking to get:
ABS Awesome V1 35, AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 939, ATI Radeon Xpress 200(Chipset), 80G HD, 512M, DVD CDRW Combo, Windows XP $519
theres onboard sound on this motherboard, and im just wondering if there can be any conflict even if its disabled
Also, im looking to get the ESI juli@. What are some good places to order sound cards besides ebay.

Oct 04, 2005 07:08 am I'm not familiar with that chipset, but a 2nd hard drive is most desirable, if you can afford it. One gig of memory, also, if you can afford the financial pain. Onboard audio will cause problems quite often, but usually not if it's completely disabled, which includes the game port. I don't know where to get ESI gear, but checkout their home page www.esi-pro.com

think about dual monitor as well. ebay still has matrox g450 for cheap. I had one and it was nice. There's others to be sure, but that is one that I used and liked.
