Hey everyone,

I have done some recordings for my songs at my house the past few weeks, I need to know what you guys think and what is good/not so good about my recordings.

I sold my amp a while back so the guitars were recorded clean and then i distorted them with plugins.

www.purevolume.com/andybell <--download them before you judge, the stream from purevolume KILLS sound quality brutally.

thanks buds

is that your baby bottle blue on the vocals?
Also, did you record drums w/ one spot mic only? sounds like it.

overall it sounds good in my opinion a little bit blasting in the ears. but for 17 years old you are at a good start.

i will agree on the drum sounds, but hey, recording real drums can be one of the hardest things to get right,

Well, I used like 8 mics on the drums (shure pg kit, 2 mxl 993 overheads and a nady sp9 on the hats) and they all went into my mixer (behringer 2442fx pro) and then into one track through the recording jack on my sound card. Jimmy Dean- I used 'Rock Amp Legends' simulator and the D-sound DT1, if you want, i can hook you up with a zip with both of them.

thanks, i would like to try them out. I know that the problem i had recording real acoustic drums into one track is that once they are recorded, you can't really adjust individual levels of each drum set piece. My elec drum set is same way because it only has one out. I am venturing into trying midi because i will have more room to adjust individual sounds.
