Anyone watch UFC?

It's on Spike TV right now, Josh Koschek just choked a guy out in under 2 minutes in the first round, he did the same thing last UFC Fight Night I watched...if ya like watching real fighting check it out, it's on Spike TV right now...

I dunno how many people here get into watching M.M.A. fighting, but I do...

hey i remember it had a man name shamrock in that and then he did move to the fake stuff (wwf) lol....i got a vhs of it and lil after they banned it i didn't kknow they brought it back or something...or maybe they just banned it from tv.

Well, the UFC has went through some changes, the first few were literally no rules (or VERY few) and were mostly just bar brawlers and untrained madmen...it has evolved into a finer fighting art now, while there are still comparitively few rules, the people fighting are now highly trained fighters skilled in one or more of the martial arts and can take out any bar brawler any time.

It very common to see black and brown belts in JuiJitsu, some Judo, all kickboxing and boxing trained and many others. So it's not the UFC it used to be...which is good, the old UFC really was just a bunch of punks.

The modern UFC is as close to real fighting as you can get without picking a fight on the street...

I hope to step in the octagon myself next spring...still not sure, but considering it. I wanna get down to about 200 lbs first...I'm gettin' there.

I saw it last night, steve bronnan's fight and chris (red hair guy).

personally, I enjoyed the Ultimate Fighter reality series

I never got into it as a bar brawling type of thing, but now it's starting to be a little lame cuz they call fights really prematurely sometimes...the Quarry/Sell fight was called in 14 seconds by a stupid referree...it was really lame...the guy did take a good shot or two, but not even close to TKO...
