So I can't sing, and I was wondering if anyone had any links for online singing lessons, or anything they could share to help me out.

his book is recommendable too

AND if you really want, I could help ya out too

MAIN thing though

"So I can't sing" if you got that in your head, well, then you can't... it's all about confidence

hmm... this could be the chance for me to start writing an article on singing, and recording vocals (or at least the way I do it)

well I know my voice, and my range and stuff, but what I mean by "i can't sing" is that I don't know how to do it properly, after I get done trying to record a vocal track my throat usually hurts and I know I'm overdoing something.

I have a couple links for you:

A great tutorial by a professional voice coach: www.voicetraining.com/online.htm

A relatively new forum for singers: singing.eblah.com/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?

An old forum for singers: www.network54.com/Forum/108991

Read, read, read! However, that will only take you so far. I did that stuff for months and it helped a bit but I've learned 2x as much in the past month with a vocal coach.

Aye - I never could take the vocal coach my old band manager set us up with seriously.

She had us (me and the lead singer) lying on our backs making strange sounds and trying to open diaphrams, etc etc.

But, if its good for ya - then good luck man.

I hope yer get it in the end and Im sure ye will (see ma reply in the other thread).

Cheers

Coco.
