OK Guys

This new geetar of mine I am loving to bits. Its the single best thing I EVER bought and I mean EVER...the best, most prized possesion I own - so, I am busy tonight but I sorted a wee sample for ye to see if its sounding better than ma epi. For me, the lows are clearer and I can really hear the difference when palm mutting...

The highs are smoother and all round, less noise but alas, it should be.

So, here it is - my prized Les Paul Classic...man, I love my guitar more than ANYTHING else I own! (p.s. tune is loosely based on a new song Im working on but mainly all improvised so forgive any bum notes).

HEAR IT HERE: www.badmartini.co.uk/lespaultest.mp3

Cheers guys - I dont mind if anybody is fussed, I just HAD to share it with ye.

Again, ta for listening to ma ramble!

Coco.

Cheers Dan - glad to hear somebody else can hear it too...its actually way better than the EPI clean but when distorting, I think the VAMP is kinda limiting the tones I am getting at times.

In short, Im looking at going doon the MIC the Marshall route I thinks...

Cheers again man, appreciate your time for sure bud

I should also say, I have just (after some nosey investigation) found out I actually have a HONEYBURST and NOT a lightburst (as the shop sold it as!!! DIPSTICKS!!).

When I checked (on the Gibson PDF for the Classics) what the actual colours are and the finishes and compared mine - AYE - its a honeyburst all right!!!

Light bursts have more reddy-orange tints where mine is...err..honeyish!! hehehehe.

Just thought Id tell ye all my stupid mistake (and the shops!).

Anyways...now am off to see if I can get me a new amp to go with this!

Cheers

Same finish as mine. I loved it 10 times more than the other burst finishes for the classic. It's almost like a tobacco burst that's been aging for 40 years :)

Aye...indeed - its actually nicer than the traditional cherry sunburts I used to prefer so much (tho My Epi has this so I will still have that look too)...

Aye, its indeed, the most beautiful thing ever constructed by man's fair hand.!

Cheers
