Jul 14, 2005 07:20 am The recording themselves are quite nice, nice mellow song as well, good on ya. The performances sounded nice, good harmonizing and playing.
As far as the mix, the vocals sound a bit upfront and in your face. Sinking them back into the mix more would be nice...it kinda drowns out everything else.
It might be nice to have some slow bass as well, my subwoofer was very bored during the song ;-)
Jul 14, 2005 08:15 am thanks very much for your comments,
yeah, the voice apeared to me too loud, too. as i am guitarist / singer and i produced the song except the piano and some chorus all by myself the arrangement apeared to me a bit static, cause of missing bass-player (i just played a bit too simple) the drumms were programmed too, so i supose that a real drummer wolud bring some life in the track too
any further comments would be very nice, yes indeed :-))
cheers

Jul 14, 2005 08:50 am Try the demo of Jamstix that I reviewed this week, might add some pizzazz...and actually, I think this track needs a simple bassline, just "bassier"
Jul 14, 2005 08:58 am thanks again, i've heard about jamstixx, i'll give it a try. andsorry for the tripple posting, my opera didn't show up and i thought the post was not sent
cheers

Jul 14, 2005 09:00 am hehe, I figured it had to be something like that.
Jamstix is fun, I really enjoyed it a lot, it would add some cool drums...they are also working on a bass guitar version, which, when released I was told I will get to look at...so, stay tuned...

Jul 20, 2005 01:17 pm i want some cymbals!!!!!!!
other than that, it's got a nice feel, i agree the vox are a bit too up front...the vocals remind me of 'comfortably numb' meets 'Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm'
i likes!

Aug 07, 2005 03:41 am I gave a listen to all 3 versions, and while all are very good, I prefer the uplugged version overall. The only thing missing would be a good pop ballad style drum track.
Nice work though, really liked the song alot. Your vocals were very good and about right to me in the mix.

Aug 08, 2005 03:06 am thanks dan for your comments - I prefer the unpugged version too - as I m a guitar player and no drummer my programming was very very simple and does not sound real. if you have an idea or a suggestion or even a midi file or drum tab for me I would be very very happy.
you could mail it to [email protected] if you like :-))
cheers,
