That is the mixer i got, i asked a few questions about it a while back but i couldnt say what it was. Anyhow, i wanna know how to use the grouping function, coz i press teh button adn it has 2 groups right, how do i know which tracks are in which group? i wnat to group channel 3/4 into group 1 and then 5/6 into group 2. So that i can reduce those channels to single lines i can put into my soundcard. and if anyone knows where i can find an online manual or any cool trix it has, all info is totally appreciated

HRC is the BEST!

Just press the proper buttons...it's really as simple as that. One 3 and 4 press the group 1 button (and main) on 5 and 6 press the group 2 button (and main) then run the group one out to the sound card and the group 2 out to a different in on the sound card...

Not many "trix" to be had on a mixer...

OK I was able to find the manual for the Studio 24 on Alesis' website. They didn't make it easy to find...you have to click on the "didn't find what you're looking for?" on the "get manual" link on the page you linked to.

Anyways, here's the link to the manual:
www.alesis.com/downloads/...io24_Manual.pdf

I thumbed thru the manual briefly, and I think that the info you want to know is in there...look for a GRP button on each channel strip that's next to the channel fader. Then use the PAN control to pan the channel either hard left or hard right. Hard left sends it to group 1, hard right sends it to group 2.

Hopefully that helps.

Yeah, assign two tracks to 3/4, pan them left and right and you then kinda create 3 and 4 as separate mono channels.
