Jul 05, 2005 03:33 pm Love Lexicon Pantheon!
Jul 05, 2005 04:28 pm I've never been able to get the lexicon pantheon to sound good on any of my stuff. It's kind of weird since so many people seem to like it. It just seems really difficut to get a good, light reverb from it. I love the Sonitus FX Reverb, though. Nice, plain reverb. No artifacts.
Jul 05, 2005 04:30 pm Yeah, the Sonitus stuff is pretty cool as well, I will agree with that.
Jul 05, 2005 05:29 pm Porpoise, the presets on Lexicon all have the mix slider on a 100% if you pull it back to about 5% MUCH lighter reverb
Jul 05, 2005 06:18 pm Yeah, I know, I'm not really talking about the mix :)

Jul 05, 2005 06:20 pm sup deeps?
my absolute favourite is the Reverb A what comes with Cubase SX. makes everything sound LUSH. after that, my bathroom. is that a plug in?
Jul 05, 2005 06:33 pm hey man, i'm gonna continue this trend and go with my Pantheon....seems stock reverb is the all the rage here! lol sorry not much help...hell i'd like to have a different one every once and a while....
Jul 05, 2005 07:24 pm I also use that same reverb Flame uses..very cool.
There is others I use but the auld Reverb A is used on most ALL my vocals...
Jul 05, 2005 09:19 pm Hey flame, I think ive got that bathroom plug in too. I recorded a singer with my bathroom. With a bit of tweaking of the presets, he found himself in the shower.
I use Natural verb (the one that comes with wavelab) in cubase. I like it, and its good to tweak, way better than reverb a/or b in my opinion.

Jul 06, 2005 01:39 am flame - are you serious haha wow...I almost hate the SX Reverb A and B plugins...I cant get anything to stop sounding like a freaking tunnel. I wan some spacey sounds behind vocals/more airy type....heh..You mind posting or sending me your preset for your vocals?
DB - haha sorry thanks for the link - I thought I was being a cool dude and getting a phat topic going only to be a dork since this topic has already been chewed on haha :p

Jul 06, 2005 02:20 am for spacey sounds, perhaps you may prefer a delay or multitap delay pluggo instead?
by the way, what's up deeps

Jul 06, 2005 02:43 am Coolo - Where you been bro? Long time no chat...whats new with you? I remember you asking for some panjabi stuff...
I just grabbed Lexicon 42 - What an awesome plugin. Gave me that spacey sound I am looking for. Its the delay/phaser plugin. I didnt realize that delays are the reasons behind vocals sounding very nice, transparent and airy all mixed up together. I bet there is some light reverb associated with it. Interestng you mention about the delay plugins...
You all can grab it from www.pspaudio.com
Same makers of the PSP Vintage Warmer

deeps, I was asking for some panjabi stuff. My friend made me a mix cd of some stuff that was very like, um, laid backish sounding stuff. It was cool. I'm still looking for more, but I'm pretty broke these days. Am looking for a part time job and what not. How's the radio show/site going? Remind me of the web address again? I'm actually hosting an underground hip hop internet radio show as well...
Solo album to drop this fall (September)...
etc.

If you need any panjabi stuff let me know I can send some stuff your way. When I listen to vocals from the tracks done @ www.untouchablesuk.com Im always wondering how the hell the vocals come out airy/space if ya notice...Good looks on the suggestion.
Whats the web address of your radio show? I'll check it out. If you need any help, let me know...

Jul 06, 2005 03:09 am my bad.
my radio show is at:
www.radioindierock.com/bace135.html
my aim is bace135, but I'm rarely on.
I'm thinking maybe delay and or reverb and then compress the delay/reverbed signal so as to boost and smooth out the reverb trail or delayed vocal. If that makes sense. I'm listening to urbanflavas3 medley video (specifically the first or is it second track). It's tight by the way, even though it's all dancy, and I don't normally dig stuff that's all dancy. I don't know, there's something there that I like.

Jul 06, 2005 03:14 am Yeah UrbanFlavas 3 is a sick album - That record label is the #1 label for South Asians...always banging out the hits. But yeah the first vocals if you notice is mad airy/spacey...I can get you some of those songs lemme know if you need any of them. Im going to check out your stuff right now...if you need anything [email protected]
