help with the chorus

i know i've posted this song before. right now the song is very much in the mixing stage and far from being finished. we're still working on the vocals and such.

i've been battling with the chorus for some time now. the electric guitar is all power chords and panned 30% right. the acoustic is panned 30% left. the chorus is tabbed out like this.

i posted the tabs because i'm not sure if the chord choice is the problem. the chorus just seems as is something is missing and i can't put my finger on it. in need of suggestions.
