The next president survey

Posted on

Administrator Since: Apr 03, 2002

According to a survey I was hearing about this morning the next president favorite is with 5-1 odds...Hitlery...er, I mean Hillary Clinton. Next is Rudy Gullianni (sp?) and then John Edwards.

I have no problem with a woman president, but THAT woman I have some problems with.

Just found it interesting, if I can find a link to that survey online I will post it, if anyone else has one, please post...

Anyone but Hillary. I remember what she did last time she was in office. ...Oh wait... everyone still thinks Bill was in control, dont they? :D

I dunno who I think would make a good one...I've really lost faith in both "parties" and have not yet seen a real candidate from any third party that would have a chance in hell of winning, and even if winning, getting any support from the other branches in Washington...

Lost for words with all to say.

I don't like any of them either. Heck, give Arnold a shot...

Not a friggin chance, to close to the Kennedy's.

I refuse to respect a president that does not even speak clear English...

Rudy would be worth a shot I think...that's the best of those top three. Collin Powell I wouldn't mind either.

Nah, I think that he'd make a better principal for an inner-urban school. He could carry around a baseball bat and snap that school into shape, and help them get an acceptible passing grade on their standardized tests!

I'd vote libertarian if it would be a landslide victory for somebody else just to help libertarian party get some credibility with numbers, other than that, it's a wasted vote cuz the party has a slim chance in hell of ever actually winning the office of president.

I do like the libertarian party's stance on the issues (most of them anyway) but as of right now are still far from a realistic win.

ay yai yai, it's 3 and a half years until the next election, how are we gonna start thinking about the next president. We still gotta impeach this one first! ...I'm just saying...

Hillary Clinton, I got nothing wrong with, but I'm sure someone can point something out to me that I'll take offence to.

Collin Powell has no credibility with me.

John Edwards is a joke!

Arnold is even more of a joke! All flash, no substance, and just wants to bull through everything. No scruples at all, and completely uncouth. Garbage!

I don't know enough about Rudy Giulliani to say anything one way or another about that guy.

I still like McCain.
Or even Howard Dean.

Unfortunately the next President will probably be stupid head's brother: the Jebster!

Oh yeah, refresh me, what happened that was so bad when Clinton was in office? Ok NAFTA, but other than that, what else? I'm being serious, I can't think of anything really, and I'd like to hear what any of you have to say. Specifics (issues at least) would be appreciated though, and I'm really only interested in things that affected the country and world, not the president's sex life. I'll give you horrible tax income forecasting as well. What else?

Just as a side note, I generally agree with libertarian ideals, but true/extreme libertarianism goes a little too far for even me. Socially (mostly) liberal, fiscally (mostly) conservative. Yeah, that's me. And our current president is the complete opposite of that, in case anyone was wondering.

Hilarious, I think this is the first time I've ever really weighed in on one of the political threads. If you disagree with anything I've said, let's just keep it civil. Cool?

Clintons got busted in a couple scandals ripping people out of money, there was the obvious "knob in the oval office" thing, he was the one (or one of the peeps) that pissed around with Saddam and let him get away with a lot of what he was. He did a couple of good things. The Roth IRA was a good thing for people, but horrible for gov't, and it artificially inflated some of his numbers leaving office. He was well on his way to bankrupting the country but none of the impact of his choices would come to fruition until the next presidential term...

That said, the whole Saddam issue can be tracked back to Bush senior, who totally screwed up and should have taken care of that issue years before Clinton was in office. He was ian idiot to pull our snippers out of Iraq when Saddam was in their crosshairs.

I agree with the extreme libertarianism comment coolo makes...however, extreme anything is too far out there for me. I try to judge political parties and process more by the mainstream of them. Though I do get carried away at time, typically I am a very right-center type of person...I agree with very, very little of the left anymore...In my younger years I always voted democrat, the funny thing is, I never left the dems, they left me when they flipped directions a few years back.

Howard Dean pissed me off so bad on The Daily Show a couple nights ago, I never liked him much anyway, but now it's even worse. He is so full of **** I can't stand it. Then again, they are all pissing me off, it's all finger pointing and tattle-taling just like kids in a playground. Nobody is trying to make themselves better, but just trying to make the other look worse.

This stupid, childish, self-motivated party system has just reached a horrible fate today. This morning my state gov't has ****** SHUT DOWN because the gov't reps couldn't agree on a budget. The house leaders are on TV blaming each others party because they want to sit in there and behave like children in the ivory tower instead of serving the people of Minnesota like we are paying them to do.

I have HAD IT with politics this morning.

I think we're safe with Arnold, because he wasn't born in the USA (right?)

It's really hard to think about choosing someone to be in charge of the country...there will be things we like and dislike about everybody. I guess it's all about finding a happy medium.

(And if "The Jebster" gets elected President, I'm friggin' movin' to Scotland!)

I'm with guitar_jim, the day I pledge my allegience to anyone called "Jeb", I'm outta here...a bit too redneck for my liking.
