anyone else getting tons of extra email crap. I've been getting a bunch like: your password, or email blocked, from webmasters like aol, earthlink, yahoo, etc. I've scanned fresh yesterday (new defs) and nothing. Anyone else been getting hit like this?

yeah, as more companies use spam blockers, and spammers use your email address to send their crap, some will bounce back to you...

And they are getting smarter too. Not smart enough though. I got one from PayPal a few months back, before I had a PayPal account. Telling me to click this link and re-enter my data. Like credit card, bandk info and crap. Stupid thing is they didnt block the IP it came from. I sent in a claim with the property info from the email. And sure enough PayPal sent me a thank you letter.

So Make double damn sure you triple check anything regarding personal info that someone might want.

Actually as of late I've been getting only about 25% of what I normally get.

I get very little spam any more.

I also never use a link in an email requesting updated info, even if it looks or is legit. I go directly to the site (paypal or whatever) and enter the info there if I need to.

oh yeah, i never do anything solicited. I have a junk drawer that most stuff goes into, but it's been near double. and most have a file (usually zip) attached with it. oh well, empty junk folder, yes.
