May 04, 2005 11:35 am yeah, as more companies use spam blockers, and spammers use your email address to send their crap, some will bounce back to you...

May 04, 2005 10:28 pm And they are getting smarter too. Not smart enough though. I got one from PayPal a few months back, before I had a PayPal account. Telling me to click this link and re-enter my data. Like credit card, bandk info and crap. Stupid thing is they didnt block the IP it came from. I sent in a claim with the property info from the email. And sure enough PayPal sent me a thank you letter.
So Make double damn sure you triple check anything regarding personal info that someone might want.
May 04, 2005 11:31 pm Actually as of late I've been getting only about 25% of what I normally get.

May 05, 2005 02:50 am I get very little spam any more.
I also never use a link in an email requesting updated info, even if it looks or is legit. I go directly to the site (paypal or whatever) and enter the info there if I need to.

May 05, 2005 09:35 am oh yeah, i never do anything solicited. I have a junk drawer that most stuff goes into, but it's been near double. and most have a file (usually zip) attached with it. oh well, empty junk folder, yes.
