everytime i burn a cd off from my com.. i cant shut down my computer....
im usig nero 5 i think..
any help..??

Apr 06, 2005 10:57 pm Is Nero staying open in the task bar or anything? It should tell you if it is when you go to shut down your PC.

i can happily use all the other programs but when i come to shut down the computer, it jus wont.
its always when iv burned a cd.
ill try re installing nero.
if that doesnt help, any ideas??

Apr 07, 2005 11:02 am When you shut down does it just stay there on your desktop like you never told it to shutdown? Or after some time, do you get a dialog box asking for some program that won't close and the option to "end now"? Yeah, try reinstalling Nero to see what happens.
Apr 08, 2005 06:53 am Did Nero install "packet writing" stuff? (I forget what Nero calls it.) Very incompatible with XP. I think Nero disables it in one of their version upgrades.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste... to late here...
