the Band Adema will be playing here in Iraq on the 6th . I have a new found respect for the band (as people). To take the time right when your new album goes on sale to play a # of free shows in locations no one wants to be at, gets a thumbs up in my book. Plus it's the only show I'll be going to this year that lets you take pictures and video.

Mar 30, 2005 01:52 am I have great respect for any entertainers that will go the distance to entertain our troops no matter where they are. If someone like Celine Dion did this, I would HAVE to give her props for doing so, (That should really express my position on this) Not enough entertainers seem to have the idea that there are fellow countrymen putting thier lives at stake so they can express themselve in any manner they please. Anyone that takes the time to make a public statement or takes a political position, popular or unpopular, should give it up for our guys and girls in the military. THEY are truly the ones that represent what all of us have taken for granted. FREEDOME.

Mar 30, 2005 11:19 pm Ya, the Bob Hope days are long gone sorry to say. But maybe there will be a resurgance of bands that will take the time to get around and do more stuff like Adema.
