Welcome to HRC.

I think you might need to give more details about your issue. I don't understand what you mean. What program are you using? Wht are you trying to accomplish?

Maybe somebody else can read between the lines and offer up some help...

use 128 for decent size or 196 for good sound.

o.k. sorry will give more details here. using home studio 2004 which I posted on my profile. What I'm trying to do is transfer my recorded final mix and transfer it to a playable file like mp3 or real player. Was working with mp3 till the 30day trial was up. But has other options like riff. wave, real player, ect.. I tried real player but that didn't work. the file that is loaded now is CWS or something close to that since I'm not at home right now to check. So to get mp3 back I take it I need to download some software for it now that my 30 days is up on the trial version.

FreeRip converts between mp3, wav and aiff I believe. It's become a standard part of my setup any more.

all the files that were within the trial period say mp3. now it comes out CSW or something like that and is just a shortcut file. When you try to transfer that file to anything else like real player or musicmatch it doesn't work. I have tried many options but no luck. So willl have to the the upgrade mp3 software for home studio 2004.
