Just in time for St. Patrick's Day! A special thanks to my drunken friends Bleak, Coolo, and Coco! They added some real Irish Pub ambience to the choruses (and elsewhere!)

Crack open a cold one and enjoy! (It's in my Music profile...the song, not the beer.)

Jim

PS: As always, technical feedback is welcomed and appreciated!

Holler! This was fun. Whoever did the backups, those were hilarious to me. The harmonica is great.

Feedback wise, it sounds to me like everyone is in a big old underground drinking cavern. I guess what I'm saying is there may be a tad bit reverb on the vocals. The guitar could be a little louder (or at least come through better) in the mix as well. Harmonica could maybe come down a little bit (not much).

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to participate in this one.

WAYYY Cool Jim!!

I love the harmonica too...its very very cool and I might add, very well recorded!

Id drop the volume on it a little as Coolo suggests but darn cool sound and fits the song perfectly.

The song sounds EXACTLY the way I hoped it would which is awesome..a good mix by ya. Id also drop a tad of the verb as Coolo said but its all good - just a little tweak to the verb and it'll be close to perfect man...bloody cool too!!! AND, it was done in time for Saint Paddys night.

The whole feel ye were after sounds good to me and I love the song lyrics too..very clever and cool. Top effort Jim..couple of tiny wee tweaks and its close to perfect...I said it before - anyone who writes such an ode to beer is a good man in my eyes ! :-D burp....cool!

Good work Jim as ever...keep it up.

Coco

P.S> thanks for the collab...twas LOADSA fun for sure...

Sounds awsome GJ!

Thats such a cool song. i'll definately be playing it to death on St Pat's!

The backup vocals could come up just the cheekiest bit but maybe losing a tiny bit of reverb might bring them forward a tad anyway!

LOVE IT!

Actually, I put the choruses that you fellas sent me into the mix as they were. I didn't add any effects to them. However, I did put some reverb on the overall mixdown, and perhaps that is a bit too reverby. I'll mess with it...

Thanks again for helping out!

Hey Jim, this is really cool, really sounds like something you'd hear in pub. Everyone involved did an excellent job, the chorus is perfect!

I think the level on the harmonica is perfect, and actually even the guitar though it could come up some, is probably about how you'd really hear it in the "pub". ;) So basically I think the mix is perfect.

OK, I loved the burp somewhere around 0:46. Who was the preformer there I wonder? Anyone would be proud to tip a tall cold green one to that tune for sure.

And indeed it does sound like the background vocals are from some half bombed pub patrons. Excellant job Jim, that one will make my drinken playlist for sure.

this is a great song!

haha I laughed my *** off at the "brown brew" part hahaha, who was that ?

Ok on to the song itself:P
it sounds great man, I like the bluesharp,
well mixed! the guitar could come up a little bit for my taste, but that's prolly just a matter of taste...

Thx guys, oh and a Happy st patricks day!

Thanks for the kind words, Presley! Noize, I believe that is Coco you hear burping. It's hard to hear them individually, but all of the guys sent me some great stuff. Different types of voices and different states of drunkeness. Just like in the real auld pubs.
