Is there a major difference between a regular laptop running O/S Windows vs iBook Apple O/S?...Do the Apple's run the software at a better rate? Is the quality better? Or is it all preference?

Mar 07, 2005 03:12 pm every music forum has the mac vs windows debates pretty regular...ford vs chevy, gibson vs fender, whatever, they all do the job, it's preference.
Mar 08, 2005 08:01 am yeah, I use a mixture of mac and pc in my video production outfit. Record sound onto a WinXP desktop and record video to an iBook G4... The ibook is nice but you have to remember to load it up with memory as off the shelf with 128MBRAM it's pretty much worthless...but run it up to even as little as 256MBRAM and it can handle capturing video for 8 hours a day.
