hey all
I have this song called " first time" I have
Piano,Pad,Organ,Vocals and Bass in it right now
Drums are on it's way ( in a week I assume )
I have rhytm guitars which are also on it's way
I need!, Joe Perry style Lead guitar ( as in " Dude looks like a lady, The Other side), for some nice licks throughout the song and the end of the song is all Solo

Quite "Aerosmithesque" which is eiywis good cause the aero force dudes are one of ma favourite bands.....

I'm not even in the same class as Joe Perry, so I'll have to pass on an attempt at the solo's. :) Really want to hear this one all finished up!

I got some trackin to do for a cool wee thing Im working on but after that, I'll do this...for sure.
Perry sound? Hmmmm...well, dude, I have....nah, I tell ye this. I'll use my Les Paul and we'll see how close you think it is. Its maybe not the actual Joe sound, but hell, I'll give it a go! I do have an Aerosmith preset somewhere I created on something....lemme find it.
be back at ya afore the weekends oot....
And aye, that synth is darn cool.

I noticed the vocals were a little off (as in timing )
and I have the rhytm guitar tracks which I'm gonna mix in in an hour or so... So I'll Update the files in a few hours...

The drummer that's gonna lay down the drum tracks, is gonna follow the midi beat as accurate as possible so it might be handy to track to that beat?

Im pleased to say I have some stuff for ye!
I have been at the old geetarin for a couple of hours now and I hae come up with something I quite like...it's as Perryesque as I can make it, soundwise and style, but if it aint Perry enough, then feel free not to use it and I wont be offended...hell - its a blast just doing collabs...
So, I just done an intro, a few riffs and a full solo. funnily enough, I think I could alter this solo a bit to be better but the riffs I quite like...feel free to chop/alter/cut/use what ye want/use none of it...NAE WORRIES.
If ye want me to do somethin different, lemme know. Its all still fresh so I can do another couple ay takes if need be. Im recording again tomorrow night on another piece I am working on so could maybe do it then if ye want any changes.
Ye can let me know either way.
Thanks for lettin me in on yer excellent tune..ye have the Steve Tyler thing going on there in A BIG way...very Aerosmithesque!! Cool..

Aye - it was a pleasure. The song is cool indeed. I agree tho - the riffin thru the song was another idea but sounds far better just as infills...too much riffin is messy for sure :-)!
But, aye, its very cool Presley...and the synth/rhythm geetars and the whole mix so far is cool for sure. Good work with the vocals too.
