BR532 to cd recorder figured out

I found in the manual of the cd recorder that you can't go optical or digital, but only analog with the input/output.Now all you have to do is read the manual of the cd recorder on external hook-ups and you are set.One problem I had before was no sound from the cd recorder.I found that for some reason, the external source(br532) will not be heard through the cd recorder unless the cd recorder is in record mode. When you hit "stop" on the cd recorder, you can't hear the br532 anymore.

optical is digital....and if it's got an optical input (lightpipe/SPDIF) then i'm sure you can use it as a recording source.

My cd recorders' owners' manual says that some devices may not be compatible with the digital or coaxial inputs in the cd recorder.I am assuming why I can only record analog. My cd recorder is a little out dated anyway.
