I have a BR532 digital recorder.It uses memory cards.I can't seem to understand the whole computer thing so I read the manual about cd recorders.I bought one but the sound from the BR532 isn't coming through the cd recorder.I even bought an optical cable.But when I hook the output holes of the BR532 to the input holes of my dvd player,the sound comes through the dvd speakers,but not the cd recorder.

if youre trying to get the audio out of the 532 onto a cd recorder, you need to hook the 532 to the recorder in that order, probably. i'm confused as to what a DVD player is doing in the chain...
Feb 15, 2005 08:57 pm I use my dvd player as an alternative to my headphones in the br532.I hook the output holes of my br532 to the input holes of my dvd player and the songs I wrote come through the speakers but not through the cd recorder when I plug my headphones in that jack.

532-->recorder-->dvd player
alternately, get an audio splitter at radio shack (cheap). you're already sure that the signal is present in the cable right before the speakers. so take the jack that leads to the speakers (the output from dvd player to speakers jack)and split the signal right there, sending one half to the dvd player and the other half to the recorder.
