yah, i tried that...only problem is, it seems like no one sells anything USED on ebay anymore, its always "new, never-used and in the box" and costs just as much as going to MF...but maybe todays my lucky day...ha

Yeah, I am not a huge fan of eBay myself...

Actually Noize2u upgraded his sound card, I wonder if he is gonna sell his 44...I'll ask him next time I talk to him, likely tonight...

the prices have come down on the 44s. They're $150 on MF now. When I got mine for that price on eBay, it was a great deal. Now you can get it hassle-free from MF for the same price. Not bad for a rock-solid card!

yah, i do...but the fact that it doesnt have a breakout box is killing me...all those wires just hanging...and dangling...

and plus i need more tracks of audio in...as of right now, i get 6 (RCAs) ins from the 1010LT, i i just cant get those two XLR ins to work...so ive decided to buy a delta 44...then sell the delta 1010LT and buy a delta 66...that way ill have 10 ins...and breakout boxes...and then my partner, who im moving in with next week is buying a delta 66...for a total of 16 tracks of audio in,...im gonna use my Behringer UB2442FX to front 8, and he's gonna use his Mackie (not sure what it is, but its identical to my Behringer) to front the other 8

something tells me you may consider my thinking flawed...ha

with a 44 and a 66 you do, of course, realize that two of the ins on the 66 are S/PDIF, right?

check out the delta 1010 sales on ebay... you may be able to find a delta 1010 for the same price as 2 44s
