I'm looking into upgrading my recording hardware and have been told that the unit in the link above is about the best you can buy. What is the consensus here? I'm still trying to get my arms around some of the high end gear available and would love not to make a mistake. Anyone know much about RME and this card?

Feb 07, 2005 09:30 am The only problem is that you will need a seperate AD/DA converter.
Feb 07, 2005 05:19 pm Any recomendations on an AD/DA converter?

Feb 09, 2005 11:22 am I'd sooner get a sound card with the A/D built in to it...thats my honest recommendation.

Feb 10, 2005 08:18 am philthyone,RME does high quality cards, a lot of pros use them. For this model you need expansion cards, so you can expand up to 16 in channels, I think. I guess, you also can connect digital mixer.
