I am using Adobe photoshop and in default it set its "Scratch and Windows" was in my C drive...

I had 85% free space until recently..
I ran disk defragmenter and two huge red blocks came up in the stats. So I got details and its to "TEMP" files from photoshop..
--- \Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\Photoshop Temp69000

--- \Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\Photoshop Temp74714

I Search for it on my computer and etc.. But no where on my comp do i have a folder called "Local settings".. so i put the above address in the search bar to search thru my computer and it doesnt find anything...

what do I do?

first, go to windows explorer > tools > folder options > view and then check the radio button that says "show hidden files and folders".

I do believe that the folder you are looking for is a system folder, so it hides it by default to prevent people from doing something stupid.

Also, a company called "Webroot" makes a cool app called "Window Washer" which keeps all your temp folders and crap pretty clean...it's a groovy little app, I use it a lot.

Bwahaha, not smart, just had the same problem to contend with before you had it :-)

No, it's not freeware, but it's cheap, like $20 or $30 or something, great little app.

I'll second "Window Washer"! It does a great job of keeping a lot of crap from piling up. I run it about once per week, just to keep my machine clean.

On the downside, it deletes Windows history and emties the cache, so my kids can hide their online exploits from me. Also, HRC doesn't remember my login information once I clear it out. :-)
