i think putting up adds at film schools and colleges is a start. basically to try and get some un-paid amature work.

Feb 16, 2005 08:11 am Nice work, didn't think it'd be so short though which was a shame, you could've maybe developed some of the ideas a little further i think. Track 3 was my favourite i think, the one with the twinkly pattern, that definately could have grown a little too. I wasn't struck on the vocal on the fourth track, it seemed a little unnecessary and to my taste a little on the cheesy side, like trying to conceptualise the EP a little too much, you had it there already, maybe the vocal takes it over the top, then again i'm not a fan of vocals (sorry if this seems harsh, don't mean it to be - i'm just not a pat on the back for the sake of it kind of guy, i'd rather be constructive than just tell i thought it was smashing or whatever). Be good to hear some more development, but good work nonetheless.

Feb 18, 2005 06:25 am No way Flame, with this sort of stuff you kind of got to let it grow and develop i think. The tracks were like two and a half minutes at the longest and were just getting going when you bailed on them. I mean some things in this sort of genre (yucky term) can get a bit self indulgent, but you were nowhere near that, give us a little more to hear before you close them down i say.

Think Outside reminded me of playing the original version of version of Castle Wolfenstien video game on PC. Then it got a bit more modern.
But, ya as for the film thing. That is exactly how I got my first scoring gig. Just a wierd poly rythm and some extra sounds and I was in.

Anyway, it was mostly just looping some stuff around it. When I get a moment I will melt it into an mp3 and pop it up ro ya to listen to.
And yes, wank means something else here as well. But it does carry several meanings.
