advice on sound cards

I'd like some advice on what soundcard to buy.

It would be used mainly to record in live setting. I need no more then 4 stereo inputs (8 total channels) and really only one output. It doesn't need to be high studio quality, but it still has to sound good, and at a low price. It's really just to record some jam sessions so I can put them on cd afterwards.

So what do you recommend? What are my choices?

For that many inputs, I think the cheapest usable card you will find is this service.bfast.com/bfast/c...mp;bfmtype=gear and it's pretty good...M-Audio makes good stuff, but typically, any card with that many inputs is gonna cost a bit.
