My aardvark Q10 supplies phantom power... if I have a preamp in front of it that doesnt supply phantom power can it go through the preamp from the Q10 to the mic ...or will things explode?

Jan 28, 2005 05:35 am Not to worry Zek, I have a Q10 and its never bothered me.
It has something to do with the connection resulting in a net zero DC potential. (Or is that Directional Mics?)
From what i have read though NEVER use unbalanced leads to go from the phantom powered Aardvark to the preamp.
