As far as why it isn't reading, my first guess is a scratched disc or something like that.

ok so i bought one from an asssociate,everything(the card) works fine,he gave me everything that came with it software included,box and all.....but my cpu is not reading the software,we had to download the driver off the net cuz it won't read the driver cd or the ableton demo cd that came with it along with an m-audio software bundles cd...it reads other cd-rom and audio cd's but not those....any ideas?
