hello,
i have a Tascam Portostudio 424, At2020 condenser mic, and some editing softwear, i have the wire that goes from computer into mixer, and mic into mixer..but for some reason i am not getting the vocals on my computer..im a noob at this, im not never good with computers..i am just trying to make this work....can anybody help please?

Secondly, a little information would help out. As far as the wire that goes from your computer to your mixer. What kind of mixer is it, and what kind of sound card is in the computer? This will help us out a bit in figuring out what you need to do.
As a general rule, you need to run the mixer outs to the Line In on the sound card. Make sure you are not running it into the Mic In as that will defonately not work.
