Adobe Audition 1.5 Default Audio Format

Anyone know of a way to change the default save format for Adobe Audition 1.5?

With previous versions (adobe/cool edit) the program automatically remembered what format you last saved a file to any particular folder - and if you selected that folder from the top drop down box when you Save As - you wouldn't have to change the file format every time. We always save our audio tracks as microsoft ADPCM - but now audition 1.5 wants you to select the file type every single time you save a file - MOST annoying when you're dealing with hundreds of tracks a day - I'd love it if someone can tell me how to get this to work the way of previous versions

Well most make you select the first time you save or do a save as. I know in Sonar if I open a project I had been working on before it simply saves to what I saved before. But when you do a new project as I said, and the save as comes up, it will make you select.

Normally Audition should be remembering what your last choice was. It could have something to do with the format you've chosen to save in since AA has to convert your files each time they are loaded to PCM wav format.

You might want to ask this question in the Audition forum as well.
