Hey whats up everybody...I host a radio show that gets now over 200,000 listeners. It's mainly a uk bhangra/hiphop radio station, but we have teamed up with some alternative music labels to provide us rock/alternative music.

If you have tracks that you want to submit for the radio station, the new site launch will happen in Jan so get them in before Jan 20th.

Thanks!

The station manager has been filling me in...Just to get some confusion out of the air, I am "Soundtheory", deeps is just a nickname of mine within my circle of friends etc...but in the music scene thats what I am known by so just in case I might get more emails asking what is my role in the radio station he he :)

Take care, happy holiydays...

deeps, gave your show a listen today. Very cool. I've been digging on the Punjabi music as of late, since my friend was playing some for me about a month and a half ago. Interesting interview as well. I'm going to be listening to the old shows over the next couple weeks. Good **** !

Hey Deeps, long time. Listened to a bit of the show, and will probly listen to the whole thing tommorrow night as I am off the rest of the week after tommorrow. Good stuff from what I am hearing. Glad to see its dong well. I have been bashing about in Project 5 and may have something presentable in the next few weeks, so I'll get it to ya then.

I have set Tuna, (my son) up with Kinetic and P5 as well and he is getting into mxing some simple stuff. He was listening with me and liked alot of the beats he was hearing and wants to do something like that so I think you inspired him a bit to put a little more time into trying to make some music.

Coolo - Thanks for the comments bro. Thats awesome your listening to Panjabi music. Its definetly crossed over in the American scene...Might be the biggest thing since Hindi songs were being sampled 2 years ago by Dr.Dre and Dj Quick, Missy Elliot...

Dan - Thanks...looking fwd to your stuff...

Coco - I got your Scottish laced email! Had to decipher it to read what you meant. Will be checking out your music after this weekend :)

Noize: Appreciate the kind words...Thats awesome...hopefully Tuna will start banging some hits!

The new site launches this weekend....

deeps I've been banging this one track by Sukshinder Shinda hella much lately (it's the only song I actually have - don't know where to go to find this sort of music, but I guess your show is a good start). It's sick cuz it has the british cat rapping and then the rhythm of the singing is kinda like Bone to my ears. Anyways, my friend is Panjabi (gotta get the spelling right this time - not trying to be ignant) but I see him 2-3 times a year. He gave me some loose translations, and the music was hella tight.

I tried sequencing a beat inspired by the music I was hearing in his car. The percussion came out "ok" in my mind, but I'm having serious trouble with any melodies. By the way, if you ever want a quick verse spitten on one of the tracks your producing, feel free to hit me up.

Coolo - Yeah definetly, I'll be back in the studio sometime soon, just toss me the mp3 sample (address) where I can download it from....

[email protected]

Coolo - There is a CD Radiophive is selling at the site titled, UK BHANGRA VOL.1 - you may be interested in that if your into the UK panjabi vibes...

HAPPY NEW YEARS TO EVERYONE :)

Deeps, I'm trying to check the updated site, but it says "This document contains no data".

As for any verses, I would have to record to your beat and hopefully keep the lyrics relevant to your song. So I don't have anything pre-written. You should have a link to my groups soundclicks page so you can check the style to see if you're interested.
