I know i havent done the polite thing of listening to others for a while, but i will this week, i promise!!!! :)

I've just got clearance off the mixer to post this song of mine, which i rate as one of my best and favourites of all time. I always write with utmost honesty, but this song is kind of an anthem to who i am. Anyhow, would love and constructive comments about all aspects. Huge thanks to my stateside friends Kerie on piano, Preston on bass, and Cary for the fantastic mixing job.

Wow...not what I was expecting immediately after listening to your Santa tune!

Very nice job! The piano and the guitars share the space very well, and effectively compliment each other.

I need to listen a few more times to fully digest the meaning of your lyrics.

Nice work!

Nice one, has Bowie sound to it. Real nice mix, and everything is sitting well in the mix.

Yep, i hear a little bowie in there, and a touch of the violent femmes methinks....

Hey Sibbly ma Welsh mucka!

Nice work my friend. Ditto everyone elses comments and what a cool tune for sure!

There is defo some Bowie in there I thinks, and a whole load of other stuff but mainly yer self which is the best hting of all.

I listened to many of your other songs and agree I like this one a lot (possibly this is one of yer best matey). Ultra smooth vocals and well performed (a little Kelly Jones in there? NICE!), nice piano work and geetars are cool too...nice n steady throughout.

Aye - overall, a top tune. Compliments fi Bonnie Scotland.

Coco.

Gotta agree with the above comments as well. And as coco said, the vocals really get it for me, very smooth and fit right into the mix. Liked the tune over all as well, well put together and I couldnt find a thing to gripe about at all.

Thanks my friends! Sorry i've been AWOL these past 3 weeks. Cant think why....

Bowie heh? Interesting. Always interested in comparison, in the same way that i always seem to compare other people to artists. This is probably as natural a vocal as i have laid down in a long time. Spending time as a cover band singer, i find it hard to settle on "my voice" if you like, always trying to imitate or mimic someone else or sth. It's by no means intentional, but does add a huge variety to my tunes.

Thanks again people, and all the best for 2005.
