Its been a big year my old HRC friends (and new ones). I've moved 3 times and have managed to survive my first year of marriage. We lost a dog *sigh* but we gained a puppy, a few friends have gone and we have made a few new ones. We had elections, celebrity incarcerations, war crimes and a sponge bob squar pants movie. It's seemed that our little universe most of us call the US has hit new lows. The best thing we can do is look back at 04 and remember the good times, the concerts, the live shows we played in or had seen. During this Holiday season, no matter what you believe in, try and take the time to enjoy the little things, enjoy your friend and fam or whom or what ever you have. The world has a sick sense of humor just don't let it get you down this year. Try and think of what you're thankful for (I know this sound cheesy), for me I'm going to be a dad in about 7 months.

did I mention I have ADD ?

Congrats on the marriage and the baby to come Geoff, have Happy Holiday season.

There will always be high & low times, make the best you can of the low ones, and enjoy the rest to the hilt. :)

This has been a most interesting year. Good grief, interesting turn of the century. If I were to personify the time, I would use bipolar. Tale of two cities comes to mind. We chase the evil doers in the sand box and canonize the Gotti family on TV. Medical science is curing more desiese than ever and children sleep in bath tubs to avoid becoming colateral damage in the gangstra wars. Parents go to great lengths to "lock out" porn on the net and Cosmopolitan mag publishes "tricks and traps" on oral sex. Sponge Bob Square Pants is far too violant as the game Frear and Repect goes to great lengths to preserve the "culture" of it's insperation.

Oh my....too much fun for one person to have.

Regardless, astute observation my friend. Congrats on what you are doing with your life! Keep up the good work and don't let the crazies get you down!
