in this post i want to share with you some smaller, lesser-known companies that i have discovered on my endeavors throughout the internet...some are definitely worth checking out...,
-Red5 Microphones
-Superlux Microphones
-RNC compressors and pre-amps
-Applied Microphone Technology (AMT) mics
i suggest that you guys check some of these out...ive been reading reviews all week on these companies and from i understand they are definitely worth checking out...if you need websites...just type their names into google and whatnot...
also...add any companies you know about that are worth checking out...

The RNC (really nice compressor) is from a company called FMR. They also make the RNP (really nice preamp).

Dec 17, 2004 11:57 pm Red5 and Superlux are building some great mics at great prices. I have had the pleasure of trying out 2 from Red5 and they were very warm and sweet sounding, natural and full.

Dec 18, 2004 06:10 pm I use a pre amp by a company called Grace (Grace Audio I think is the full name). It is a solid state pre amp, and sounds beautiful! The one I use is a Model 101. A little pricy, but beautiful.
