where are my plug-ins??

i downloaded a bunch of freeware plugins for protools, and i put them in the plug-ins folder but when i load protools i cant find the plugins anywhere. please help

well , i downloaded them and when i load protools it says that it is loading the plugins but when i go to the audiosuite tab at the top of pro tools only the original plugins are there. does anyone know how to use new plugins?

Well, any pluggin that will work in PT needs to be authorized with a key code. I have never seen any freeware pluggins for the PT TDM system and I have looked long and hard for them to be added into our links section. There are none that I know of.

TDM pluggins are very expensive and I cant see PT authorizing free 3rd party pluggins, as Digidesign is big on making big money off their stuff.

so my suggestion is check your authorization keys and see if they are valid.
