Now this is something i have no clue how to do. i have 2 h/d of song files, wavs and programs that need to be saved to disc. Are there programs that make it easy or should i just manually burn what i want to back up using nero?
Any info on this would be helpful. thanks

Nov 07, 2004 04:53 pm Depending on the size of the backup, you could get an external hard drive to dump the info over to and then do what you have to do with the 2 drives that you are currently running. :)
As for programs, you'll want to make sure that you have the original install files that came with them because they will have to be setup in windows again if you are formatting or something like that, but data files for music programs, documents..etc. can be dumped to an external hard drive which you can get at any local computer store. They run $100-$500 depending on the capacity that you are looking to obtain and it would probably save you a whole lot of time as opposed to Nero burning cd's. I use mine for backing up when I format, or just to have a backup of my system documents just incase something happens to my main drive. :)
