Hi Guys

Here is a link to one of the best articles I read in a long time (especially since I just found and fired up ma Mini Disc again after being tempted by Flame's talk aboot the joys of MD).

www.soundonsound.com/sos/...nyminidisc.html

This article is most informative, and explains ATRAC in a good way. By this, we should ALL have one of these little gems...

Just sharin the info...

Coco.

Thanks for the link! I have never owned or even thought about buying a MiniDisc recorder, but I can see how this could be a useful bit of gear.

The author must have been some kind of "Coco Wannabe", using words like "naff" and "daft" in his article!

Yi can pick em up now for much cheapness on Ebay.

I got mine in a swap but they are real cheap now. Basically, a CD quality recorder which is as simple and portable as a tape recorder!! What could be better for samples, live work - for the price anyway.

Aye - cool.
