Hi Guys
Here is a link to one of the best articles I read in a long time (especially since I just found and fired up ma Mini Disc again after being tempted by Flame's talk aboot the joys of MD).
www.soundonsound.com/sos/...nyminidisc.html
This article is most informative, and explains ATRAC in a good way. By this, we should ALL have one of these little gems...
Just sharin the info...

Nov 02, 2004 08:48 am Thanks for the link! I have never owned or even thought about buying a MiniDisc recorder, but I can see how this could be a useful bit of gear.
The author must have been some kind of "Coco Wannabe", using words like "naff" and "daft" in his article!

Nov 02, 2004 03:33 pm Yi can pick em up now for much cheapness on Ebay.
I got mine in a swap but they are real cheap now. Basically, a CD quality recorder which is as simple and portable as a tape recorder!! What could be better for samples, live work - for the price anyway.
Aye - cool.
