This is a new collab piece. I came up with main theme, and coco added some guitar which I sampled and arrranged. Everything got a basic mix down and now I'm showing off. Feedback is appreciated.
The track is called Submariner, and can be found either in the members music under pro instrumental:

or under my profile's music page

Thanks for listening folks.

Oct 08, 2004 08:10 pm I like it a lot coolo. The guitar between 0:15 and 0:40 sounds very Pink Floyd to me. If you want me to nitpick I will say that some parts got a little buried twords the end but I didn't think it took away from the song.
Would love to hear with lyrics.

Oct 11, 2004 02:53 am Hey, Tony, I'm downloading your version now. I'll give a listen and get back to you. Though I do like the theme, sounds like a good drunken theme.
Um, I'm pretty sure I will add lyrics, I think I already know what lyrics I'd like to add, but that may change pending hearing Tony's lyrics. Anyhow, I expect this will be the main theme with arrangement to be redone around whatever lyrics are deemed appropriate.
Glad you like the bass Flame. For some reason, that's always the most important part of a track for me.
Oct 11, 2004 11:23 am I like the mix Coolo...I think what you done is really cool. I had gone for a full on mix when I done the parts but the vision you had and the mix you have beats it hands down.
The parts seem to blend well and you used the exact right bits - good job.
Bass is cool all thru - I love that bass line. Really moody. And, I liked the guitars :-) Seriously - its soundin cool. With some lyrics, it'll be even better.
Coco.

Oct 12, 2004 03:13 pm Thanks coco. Though it is much easier to mix songs when you have all the parts to mess around with. ha ha.
Anyways, Tony, your lyrics are pretty hilarious to me, cuz they just keep repeating. It's cool though. Actually I'd be interested in using your vocals in the final mix of the track. I'll prolly add my vocals, and keep yours in the background, but I think they would add that "what exactly is going on there touch". If you're willing that is.
