this is a site with a LOT and when I say a LOT I really mean ALOT of Vintage Intstruments which we're carefully sampled, Everyone could use this ..
see through their collection, of Donations and their own. very usefull If you don't have a real B-3 standing in your studio but need one, guess what they have it
just check it out
there must be something you could use;)

Oct 08, 2004 06:33 pm Unless I'm missing something, you can't really use these unless you have an AKAI sampler of some sort. Too bad, I was getting excited.
Oct 08, 2004 06:37 pm sure you can use them
Only they're made to be used with an AKAI sampler
but you could use them with any (software) sampler
maybe you just have to edit a few of the wavs or something But I used them In a software sampler
Fruitloops for example (bad example cuz fruity doesn't stretch and pitch very nicely)
but any good sampler will do

Oct 10, 2004 04:06 pm Indeed, Presley nothing wrong with keeping that site in the news. I have them listed in our links section as well from the first time you posted about them. I have grabbed a couple of samples form them and find them awsome.
coolo, there is a sample conversion program I am gonna try from a place called chicken system or rubber chicken. www.chickensys.com/ They have a great software sample converter that once you buy it they update it free for life. They are currently workin on the conversion for Vsampler and the DS864 in Sonar and Project 5. But it will do almost any format to any format. So for you it will convert those Akai samples to SF2 or whatever you want. The thing is less then $150.00 I believe and so far it is one of the best in that price range I have found.

Oct 11, 2004 02:19 am noize, I saw that program on their web page. unfortunately, I don't have a buck fitty to shell out for that program. Oh well, I got enough sounds to mess around with for now.

Oct 11, 2004 11:39 pm Ya, I havent been ablt to justify the price yet either but I know I will eventually crack and buy it. I have so many samples in SampleCell format I cant use unless I convert them and most of them extreme and I could never replace them.
