for some reason i'm hearing the blips and beeps from my computer when it's thinking. the sound comes right through my speakers. i have a RealTek AC97 sound card. it's the one that came stock with my computer. would a better sound card eliminate this problem. do you have any that you would recommend. i have a mixer so there is no need to have a ton of inputs on the sound card. thanks a bunch to anyone who might be able to help me.

Anything in our "Gear Bag" section is better than that AC97 thing...ESI Juli@ is awesome and about $180 USD.

I've got the M-Audio Audiophile 24/96. Great card and down to $100. 2 channel I/O + digital I/O and Midi. Check it out.
