Hi guys, haven't seen ya in a while. I've been recording working on my second album and its coming along great!

The only problem I have is my PC doesn't want to output through my Audiophile soundcard. It's hooked up properly cause it works while recording and play-back in Cubase. The only way the output works (other than Cubase) is if I plug the speakers into the stock motherboard.

I tried setting the computers default output to my soundcard, but it's stubborn.

any ideas?

Do you have the WDM drivers installed. Without them installed the Audiophile will not allow windows to use it. It sounds as though they might be corrupt as I am sure you are using the ASIO drivers in cubase.

Anyway, I would suggest going to M-Audio and downloading the latest driver release and installing it.
