Oct 03, 2004 08:40 am Wow they missed one on the white album. I remember this well as I was in high school (talk about dated) and very suseptable to this kind of hype at the time. On revolution number nine, if played backwards, the lyrics "num-ber nine" clearly stated "turn me on dead man". It was a real rush to use an old reel to reel to reverse track that and have those chilling words become audable for the first time. Ah yes, the mystical 60's. From wizards to alchomists. Funny I should remember, they say if you can, you missed it!

Oct 03, 2004 09:02 am Oops, guess I scanned to fast. Ya the 60's were one big fuzz. Strong distrust for anything organized especially government. The predictions of 1984 which like most art was more a reflection of the times. A strong sense of "underground" movement. We were all hippies, very "connected", part of an exciting "underground" movement that would change the world! It was fun, but not without cost. My taxes now pay for the rehabs, education of almond eyed babies.... bla bla bla. Didn't we do a great job!
