Studio computer blown out

Well, it was just a matter of time before the ole box would drop dead, happened a few weeks ago. im going through recording withdrawrals, but it finally gave me the drive to buy some parts and build a new one, i can still salvage the harddrive (only about 5 months old) and the CD drives, gonna pick up a new case mobo and processor (goin pentium 4), and have my drummer (i know, letting a drummer near complicated electronics, what am i thinking? but hes built his computer and works as a computer tech, so hes good) help me get it together, and it only came out to be about 300 bucks. no real question or purpose to this post, i know, just wanted to vent.
