I just bought a compressor and had a quick question on how to hook up. I'm going to use it pretty much for vocals only. Do I hook it up to the "INS" of my Mic mixer channel or do I hook the Main outs of the mixer to the compressor?

Sep 02, 2004 09:40 pm so, AUX OUT to compressor then compressor to Aux RTN?
Sep 03, 2004 10:55 am With a compressor, I think you would want to compress the whole signal, so I would use a insert cable, and plug it in to the insert jack.
Your main outs would work fine as well.

Sep 03, 2004 04:41 pm if its just for a channel or two. just interupt the signal with the inserts rather than worrying about the the main mix. just my opinion
