So today my friend and i decided to make a trip to good ole guitar center.

we spoke to the guys at the audio section and what they basically told us in terms of sound cards is that the mark of the unicorn 869 HD is the best for our purpose. This card includes 8 inputs and preamps, so it would basically allow for the recording of 6 drum mics simultaneously. The price is however very high: 1200 $. What do you guys think would be the middleground to record 6 drum mics at the same time?

Thank you

adrian

This seems like a good alternative. A couple people here use it and love it. service.bfast.com/bfast/c...mp;bfmtype=gear and it's a whole hella bunch cheaper.

M-Audio Delta 1010....won't be disappointed.

I use it to do 8 of my 9 drum mics.
