Im having trouble installing the free bomb fctory plug-ins from pro tools.... i keep getting a message during installation that reads "PACE System Files installer failed to run".... and thus when i try to start pro tools, whenever it tries to load in the bomb factory plug-ins.. i get a message that says i need to update my drivers.... so i did that (so i thought) but i still get the same problems... can someone help me with this, please?

also, i had the bomb fatory plug-ins working before until i stupidly decided to reinstall Windows XP.

Im using Pro Tools LE 6.1 and use Windows XP Pro.
Thanks for anyone who can help

Hey,

had the same problem when I was playing with the Bomb Factory plugs myself. What you'll want to do is go to the pace manufacturer site for the driver download and download the windows install of the file. I don't remember the link off of the top of my head, but if you go to duc.digidesign.com do a search for Bomb Factory install you'll get like a million topics on it. :) Let me know if you're still having troubles or if you can't find the topic and I will see if I still have the drivers at home on my studio computer for you. peace

You're welcome. :) I know that Digi always needs drivers for something or another out there. heheh Let me know if you have any other questions, or feel free to drop me an e-mail any time. peace
