For all of you hi-bandwidth people out there, a friend turned me on to a couple of great sites for downloading live shows from just about any band under the sun that allows taping at their shows.
If you're into jam bands (the Dead, Phish, Widespread Panic, STring Cheese Incident, etc.), then check out bt.etree.org They have all sorts of shows there.
Then there's www.sharingthegroove.org They don't focus quite as much on jam bands, but I've seen stuff from lots of different bands there. I thought that some of the material there was suspect at first, but the forums seem to be moderated and any illegal material is quickly taken down.
All you need is a BitTorrent client and you're ready to go! My hard drive is already filling up :)
