Non-complicated question about Cubase

Hopefully anyways.
If I create one track in Cubase and want to quit for the day or whatever, it`ll ask me if I want to save the track. Of course I do and so I do.
Next day I want to create another track and save it along with my first one, however it saves it as a different file in the same folder and I can`t get the second one to open with the first one, with one track visually being on top of the other.
Anybody know how to do it? I used to but its been a year since I messed with this stuff.
thanks

I'm cornfused. That's not new. Obvious caviat.
I generally record a track and save the "song" [.all] not the arrangement [.arr]. Next session, I record enable the next track down and lay the second track listening to the first. Atain, I save the song [.all] with no change to the name. This has always worked for me.

Thats another question I had. Where in the world is the record enable option. I remember using it but I cant remember where it is?

it in the information window for each of the tracks which shold be on the left hand sifde of the window. if its not, click the little button on the bottom left which'll open it for ya. once you've found that, record enables in there.

easy when you know how, though it took me months of posting stupid questions on here to work it out.

if ya need any more help with it, let me know!
