Hi guys,

Could any of you MIDI experts tell me how to program the pitch wheel "manually" in SONAR to get a pitch bend to an exact number of semitones??

All I see there is numbers but I don't know how to translate them to semitones.

Thanks for your help!!

You can do it one of two way's. Either in the piano roll, or the event editer. The piano roll being the easiest of the two. In the piano roll, you simply open the piano roll and there will be a tool bar and so on accross the top. You will see a box that should default to control. Open that and choose Wheel, this will let you now draw in or edit your pitch bend control right under the note's you wish to bend.

The event editer is for making very minute adjustment's, this would be the place to do it if you allready have the pitch bend close and just want to go in and make fine adjustment. I usually do my bend manually first to get it where I want it and then go into the event editer and work there.

Either way, it will get the job done.
